JUDr. Barbara Kapounková

Barbara Kapounková focuses in her legal practice on cases with an international element. She provides legal services mainly in the area of litigation, insolvency, and family law.

She started to gain her first practical experience during her studies at the Charles University Law School in Prague, working as a student in a law firm and completing an internship at the criminal section of the District Court for Prague 6.

After graduation, she became a member of the litigation team at a leading Prague law firm, where she represented an insolvency administrator with a special licence in court proceedings across the country, and participated in resolving insolvency of Czech companies through reorganisation and bankruptcy.

In 2019, she founded a boutique law firm focusing on providing legal assistance to foreign clients in matters of family and inheritance law.

She speaks English and Spanish.
